VALENTINA - Handcrafted VEGAN Loafers

Designer's Note

This design was inspired by Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman in space. She was only 26 years old then, and she inspires us to this day. The pink against the black backdrop of this design represents her - a woman in space, working against the odds to achieve an unheard-of, and near-impossible, goal.

The design is made using aari and zardozi hand-embroidery work, with added gaanth work to select elements of the pattern. The mirror work takes its inspiration from the traditional mirrorwork of Kutch (Gujarat, India). Each pair takes an artisan 10-11 hours to complete.

Production and delivery

This Item will be produced on a pre-order basis. Production and delivery requires usually 7-14 days.

Shipping & Returns

This item will be shipped from India as an insured package with valid tracking number. 

Made-to-order pieces are created uniquely for you, and therefore the sales are final and the items can not be returned or exchanged. If you receive wrong item or in a faulty/ damaged condition, please let us know with in 24 hours of receiving the package and we will try to resolve this issue together with the designer for you.
